Lake Tuscaloosa - The Secret's Out!

Created in 1970, this nearly 6000 acre, man-made lake is one of the best all-around recreation lakes in Alabama. Owned and regulated by the city of Tuscaloosa, this pristine landmark is a source of drinking water for the surrounding area.

Drawn to its excellent boating, skiing, swimming, and fishing, Lake Tuscaloosa is treasured by a mixture of permanent residents, summer vacationers and weekend retreaters looking for a respite from city life.
